Apple Spice honors the memory of Wayne Curtis, whose dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment helped shape the company and the people around him. From the very beginning, Wayne played an integral role in our growth and success, bringing his outstanding food and organizational skills, integrity, and a strong work ethic to everything he did. No job was too big, no request was too hard—Wayne would figure out how to get it done. His contributions left a lasting impact on our organization, and his influence continues to be felt across the company today.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Wayne was known for his genuine kindness, steady presence, and the respect he showed to everyone he encountered. He built meaningful relationships with coworkers, franchisees, partners, and friends. Wayne found tremendous joy in watching Apple Spice make a meaningful difference in the lives of its employees. He was deeply fulfilled by knowing that the company helped create opportunities and improve the well-being of the people who made it successful. Wayne's passing leaves a profound void for all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his legacy lives on through the many lives he touched. We remain deeply grateful for his contributions and proud to carry forward the spirit, dedication, and standards he helped establish.

Apple Spice honors the memory of Kenneth Wzorek, our partner and Chief Branding Officer, whose creativity, vision, and passion helped shape the company we are today. During his 14 years with Apple Spice, Ken played an instrumental role in building the business into a national franchise, creating the distinctive brand identity that customers recognize across the country. He designed the current Apple Spice logo, packaging, and visual branding, and his remarkable attention to detail continues to be reflected in our stores, website, marketing materials, and online presence.

Beyond his extraordinary talent as a designer, Ken was known for his positive spirit, enthusiasm for life, and genuine kindness toward others. In 2021, Ken passed away unexpectedly from myocarditis at the age of 45. While his passing left a tremendous void for his family, friends, and coworkers, his legacy lives on through the brand he helped build and the countless lives he touched along the way. We remain deeply grateful for his contributions and proud to carry forward the vision and standards he helped establish.
